I had the free version for a while and refreshed the free license a couple times (sorry developers) and tried it but I don't like it for reasons that i'm too inadequate to use it (properly). I have no idea how so many people can use it at all, maybe there's some actual productivity skin/theme that doesn't use pixel fonts that I don't know about. Marmoset Hexels: from what i've seen it can do anything that all the other programs can do.īut I find its interface a bit too "advanced". The pixel UI makes aseprite basically unusable for me - either tiny text that i have to squint to read or large blocky text of varying letter height that is extremely difficult to read.
